Need some delicious jam to go with the Vegan Gluten-Free bread you made with me last week? Try this super easy recipe for raw strawberry jam with chia seeds.
Put two tablespoons of chia seeds in two tablespoons of water. Want your jam sweetened? Just add in a couple tablespoons of honey (like I did) or some other sweetener you like. Let the chia seeds sit while you wash and hull your strawberries.
If you have a blender or food processor, throw your berries in there and chop it all up. If you’re super buff and a total do-it-yourselfer then grab a fork and get at those bad boys. Once your berries are mashed up, add in the chia seeds mixture. Let it sit up in your fridge for a half hour (or more if you can wait) and then put it all in a jar. You can even make a double batch to share with your friends.
