Many of you responded excitedly to my last post about this monochromatic trend, so I thought I’d follow it through to the end. Here are a few pieces I found that are a bit more budget-friendly. I loved the grey-toned Atsushi Nakashima dress from last post so when I saw this Eva Franco design on Modcloth, I immediately began thinking of how I’d DIY it (only a bit) to mock the awesome tucked-in-center pattern from the runway. As for the Antonio Berardi outfit, I was super attracted to that ultra-structured, simple longline vest. I have been searching for the perfect doppelgänger for this and the closest I’ve come is this gorgeous Jeremy Laing vest. The Alexis Mabille dress is just such THE classy, button-down shirtdress. I found this really gorgeous Steffen Schraut dress on La Garçonne and noticed it had the slightly-pleated waist like the Alexis Mabille one. Which is your favorite? How else are you incorporating the monochrome trend into your wardrobe?

Ooh I’m loving this trend! No one does monochromatic like New Yorkers in their all black attire. One day I want to be pull off the look :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog – love your blog design!
Oh yes I agree you should figure out how to make the dress you pulled mimic the runway version, the diagonal lines are super cute.
