Blah, blah—EMERALD! Am I right? Okay so I understand that Pantone’s whole “color of the year” deal is a great way to get people to buy more things simply for the color of the objects they are purchasing, but I must say that I’m glad they at least chose a pretty color. I think this color is almost universally flattering and deep, vibrant green is one of my favorite colors. I have been eye-ing a few emerald dresses lately so I decided to share my favorites. What do you think? Which would you pull off best, and why?

I’ve already been virtually stroking that all saints dress on their website – it’s so beautiful. Not sure I could pull it off, but I’d have fun wearing it!

I am very excited about emerald. Last year’s orangey hues were, well, not all that helpful on anyone’s tone.
I can’t wait to find a great emerald scarf or jacket. Something that I can keep for a long, long time.
Very smart to go with a scarf. And I’m totally with you on the orange. I am REALLY not a sight for sore eyes in that color… More like an eye-sore.
